What has been WSIF doing for influencing health care seeking behaviour of women in terms of Mental Health care:
Besides, all our regular mental health awareness activities, we have been posting different health awareness messages, motivational posts, conducting regular webinars by experts, providing free psychosocial first aid and online consultations with psychologists and psychiatrists that raised in this COVID situation.
Currently, we have more than 50 clients who are availing themselves of our personal counselling sessions with a minimal charge. In addition under the scheme of “Project Rising” we have provided 500 free counselling sessions to 100 students who have reached out to us for help
What is Project Rising:
In this crisis period, we have observed that mental health issues and help seeking behaviour have increased amongst the student population. We understand their needs; hence we are trying to make their path for availing counselling sessions easier and affordable. In order to keep this running, we have designed a scheme “Project Rising” where we have provided 500 free counseling sessions to 100 students who have reached out to us for help. This way, we can seek to prevent a lot of mental health conditions such as, major depressive disorders, severe mental illness the consequences of which are loss of productivity, self-harm and suicide. So, we are looking for collaborators who would join us in this noble initiative to provide free counselling sessions to these students, who are the future leaders of Bangladesh. This will be a contribution for an important social and moral cause.
Collaborative package that WSIF offers
Tas a collaborator, we will help you with the marketing and promoting of your product (it could be anything not just women related products).
- Increasing your brand identity in WSIF Social Media platform (We have more than 50,000 women and around 35,000 of them are active)
- We can do a contest to promote the product among the community and will provide them your product as prizes. The winners will be asked to write reviews on your products.
- They will also upload photos and share available offers from your brand as you release them.
- As a collaborator, you will have access to WSIF website to promote your logo brands and/or products
What WSIF needs from a partner
- We need contributions from collaborators partners, (upon discussion)
- The contribution will fund a scheme called ‘Project Rising’, which will provide free of cost counselling sessions to a vulnerable community such as who are students.
- You will then need to support WSIF in your own website or any media platform you have (i.e Facebook) to spread the word about mental health awareness.
