Hormones have a powerful effect on women’s brain chemistry, mental health, and mood. There are some important hormones that regulate a women’s emotion:

  1. Stress hormones: Cortisol and adrenaline
  2. Reproductive hormones: Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone
  3. Thyroid hormones

The interesting fact is hormone imbalance can lead to stress, and stress can lead to hormone imbalance as well.

Symptoms of hormone dysregulation can include:

• Having a healthy balanced diet
• Getting regular exercise and plenty of sleep
• Practicing relaxation such as yoga, practicing deep breathing, getting a massage or learning to meditate
• Regular physical exercise or walking
• Taking time for hobbies, such as reading a book or listening to music, gardening, cooking
• Spending quality time with friends and family
• Seeking professional help when needed

Hormonal imbalance and mental health are two interlinked things that play a vital role in maintaining a women’s health. For keeping a balance between mental and physical health, every woman need to follow the above-mentioned tips.
