Number of participants: About 60-70 participants attended this session

Content of the session: 

The purpose of the session was to manage and regulate the negative emotion “Anger”, for taking care of overall health. The participants were able to understand about the main sources of anger and about the “stressor”. They learned to focus on managing anger instead of controlling it. The importance of building self-esteem and practicing self-affirmation to turn any negative energy into positive one was well discussed.

Activities conducted:

Initially participants were asked about their expectations from the session. Few breathing exercises were practiced among the participants during the session as a technique to overcome anger. The facilitators demonstrated a few role play activities to express anger in a healthy way. All the facilitators were awarded with crests as a token of appreciation from WSIF. A short meditation at the end of the sessions gave the audience an amazing experience.
