– Debunking myths about mental health and the importance of seeking support
– Recognizing stress, its symptoms, and the “fight-or-flight” response
– Practical strategies for coping with stress
– Achieving a healthy work-life balance
– Building resilience through empathy and a growth mindset
Activities Conducted:
– Self-Reflection Exercise: Participants identified their own stressors and shared their
thoughts on mental well-being.
– Myth vs. Fact Discussion: Participants were divided into small groups to discuss common
mental health myths and present their findings.
– Stress Response Simulation: A guided activity demonstrating the physical and emotional
signs of stress, followed by relaxation techniques.
– Work-Life Balance Brainstorming: Participants collaborated to list challenges in
balancing work and personal life and proposed solutions.
– Empathy Practice: A paired exercise where participants actively listened and responded
to their partner’s concerns without offering solutions.
– Growth Mindset Activity: A worksheet-based activity where participants reframed
negative thoughts into positive perspectives.
