We all have our own ways of dealing with stress. We all come from different backgrounds and are at different stages of our lives. Some of us live close to our families, while others are far away. Some of us are just about to kickstart our careers, while others are still figuring out what we want to do with our lives. Whatever the case may be, all of these circumstances warrant stress of some sort, and each of us is affected by it in unique ways. A hobby that I have found to be a timeless reliever of stress, is writing. What’s great about writing is that I can write about whatever’s on my mind at any time, and sort of reason my way out of stressful situations. Many times when we need people to talk to, they may not be available to listen. That’s where the beauty of being there for yourself comes in, and all you need is some paper and a writing utensil: nothing else! This is a picture of all the journals I’ve filled up within the past four years about so many things that weighed down on me on a daily basis. Whatever it is that I write about, I always feel more in touch with myself at the end of it. Try it out! When you have a lot of things in your mind and you need to de-stress, write about it! Record your journey! And one day you’ll be able to look back at such things and be glad that you kept a record of your struggles!
