Pieces of Advice that you can follow if you are a mother by a WSIF member:

1. I followed productive motherhood posts and started maintaining a diary/journal. A to-do list and a track of my day. It added a great rhythm to my day and I started having more “me time” than ever before. I started doing stuff that I have always wanted to do but couldn’t make time for. Like baking, reading, memorizing, watching videos of my interests.

2. I saw Lilly sings video about the vision board and made one for myself

.3. I started following some you tubers who are homemakers, mom of 4,5,6 children, and also pursuing some kind of business. One of them is an author, one is a painter and some more. I tried to incorporate the tips of managing everything together in my daily routine.

4. I homeschool my child. So I watch a lot of homeschooling videos. They gave me amazing ideas to teach my child. I learn and make creative learning activities for my 3-year-old and I can’t describe how much we enjoy this quality time. This is a great way to teach children, make memories with them, and to create an impact on their future life. You are passing the golden age of your child’s life. (First 5 years) . Your smiley, productive, active, cheerful attitude can make a great foundation and example for your child. Please remember “Children listen with their eyes”

5. I kept strict control over my screen time: • I don’t use face book for more than half an hour most of the day. • I have checklisted 4 videos on 4 different topics of my interest and strictly keep within these 4 and not more than that. There are many more tips and tricks that I have followed. But the bottom line is boredom, boring routine has been a blessing for me to allow me a lot of time to think about myself. I realized how much I need to improve myself as a person.

I am a medical graduate and did a master’s in geriatric welfare from Dhaka university. And all my life I have touched all the milestones of education and career that society gave me in the right time . But somewhere down the line, I found out that I didn’t pay attention to myself for growing as a person, for making good personal habits, for being good citizen for unlearning the things that I don’t want to pass on to my children. So, having my first baby I took a conscious decision to take a long pause and be with my children in their golden age to create an impact. It gave me so much time to improve myself for the better and now I don’t wait for an adventure to come. I create an adventure, challenges for myself! Every tick mark in my wish list, goal list make me motivated to go for the next.
