Remember, it’s okay to seek help if overthinking is affecting your quality of life.
🌀 Symptoms:
– Constant worry about the future or past events
– Difficulty making decisions or second-guessing decisions made
– Persistent negative thoughts
– Trouble sleeping or concentrating due to a preoccupied mind
🔍 Causes:
– Stress and anxiety
– Personal experiences or fear of failure/mistakes
– Perfectionism or fear of judgment from others
🛠 Management:
– Mindfulness and meditation to stay present-focused
– Setting aside specific ‘worry time’ rather than constant rumination
– Cognitive-behavioural techniques to challenge and change thought patterns.
🚫 Prevention:
– Develop healthy coping strategies for stress
